Brute 750, Hot on leg. Engine ice ?????

Your talking about two different things.
Any coolant that drops engine temp does it by transfering the heat better in the radiator. The coolant "hugs" the metal in the radiator better. When this happens the heat will transfer faster and better in the radiator. 5 degrees or so won't do much for the heat you feel.
Just like Curls said, coat the exhaust.
Also make sure your jeting is on the money. My 700V is not bad at all.

The best thing I found was to wrap the pipe with header wrap along that side next to leg. Stainless aftermarket pipes are best for this. With the stocker you may take a chance of rusting.
