Well it sounds as if the engine is cranking over since you said you are getting spark and have good compression but it has something to do with the fuel and if the carb is fine then try blowing air through the fuel lines maybe the gas isn't even getting to the carb because you might have sucked dirt from the bottom of the tank. My dads diesel tractor had us puzzled one time and he blew through the line and dirt came out since it was clogged and ran like a charm. Do you have the right jets and needle for the setup?

 

Yea, the needle and jet are correct, they are set to the right altitude and everything. It is just puzzleing how it runs great, I park it, then the next morning it wont run... I dont get it

i had the same problem with my 700 missed with the choke cables and vacum lanes then it started dont know why but it did

 

Well, some kind of progress may have been made, it did backfire, and I am hearing the sounds of the compression befor it starts, but still wont start. That would probably be the timing, wouldnt it? But how can the timing just all the sudden, mess up?
