Default brute 750 aftermarket rims help asap

does anyone have the MaxLite 8 spoke rims on their brute 750? if so, what is the offset in/out that you ordered front and back? when i bought my new 06 brute from the dealership they already had those aftermarket rims bolted on it and i really didnt pay all that much attention but the rear rims stick way out compared to the stock rear ones. they didnt order the right offset. ive seen in dirtwheels mag. where a guy in the "Letters" column has the same rims that i do but his dont stick out in the rear like mine do. mine stick out so far that adout 1/4 of the stock rear tires stick out past the rear fenders. thats crazy!! any help is greatly appreciated.

I have after market tires and rims, and they stick out farther than stock also. I now get mud all over me, but didnt when i was stock. I think its normal because my stock tires were 26-10, and my swamplites are 26- 12, so they are 2" wider in the back.

anybody else have any reply? no, i know for a fact that my rear rims arent right because they stick out 4-5 incheson each side further than the stock ones. thats no lie. its like if you would take the rear stock rims and flip then around and bolt them back on. they are way off. the back part of the rim that sits against the hub hardly dishes in at all and the outside of the rim that you can see dishes way in.

Thats odd. I cant help you, i would make sure there isnt any spacers for one, and second, what kind of rims are they? ITP has a type of 14" rims, instead of 12 and that might pose a problem for you.

haha rammy now now be nice but the right size and left side are 2 different sizes i'm guessin beacuase of the brakes and other stuff but I'm guessing that the tires are alot wider then the rim and cause them to stick out a little bit further but not sure that it would be all of the 1/4 thats alot

Sounds like you have wheels for a SRA Honda or Yamaha to me. The offset is wrong for a IRS machine. I would take them back or sell them. The dealer has no idea what they are doing or they wanted it a little more stable. Not sure, but they shouldn't stick out that far.
