How many fingers on the clutch lever?
When I'm just riding I usually feel brave enough to use all four fingers. But when I really want control such as when popping a wheelie or jumping, etc., I feel more comfortable using the index and middle fingers while keeping the ring and pinky fingers on the grip. But doing the two finger method gives me forearm-pump really bad.
What is the text book/experienced/professional/safe rider/racer way to operate the clutch lever?
Thanks.

index and middle for me too, those two are easily enough to pull in the lever, while the ring/pinkie combo works well to keep a hang onto the bars...
Of course in really rough high-speed sections where I feel I need full control I just shift without the clutch lever.
