I was told today about an ignition module for a Prairie. He wasn't sure who made it or what size it was for. All it did was change the timing curve. I know this isn't much info, but any help on brands of CDI boxes or ignition modules might help. I was told it would also work on the Honda Rincon. Don't know for sure but any info might help. Thanks

 

Sorry man. I know of all the ones for the kawie motors but nothing that'll work for the rincon.

 

i Hear the rincons cannot not have aftermarket cdi's. Just what i heard though. BTW, how do you like the rincon. THat will probally be my next atv.

 

I realize that they don't list it to fit a Rincon. But this guy knew someone that tried it and it also worked on the Rincon. I know nothing about the Kawasaki"s. I'm just trying to find out some makers of a CDI or ignition module for the Prairie. Its one of them ideas where someone knows someone that did it. I'm just trying to research it some.
As far as the Rincon? I love it. Period. I've ridden several 4 wheelers including the Bomb 800, and I'll take the Rincon anyday. Although I would love to have that Bombs power. The Rincon is a trail machine and loves to be pushed hard. I don't think you would regret getting one.

 

i think Dirt Wheels magazine did an article about hoppin' up the Rincon a few months ago. maybe Power Commander makes the CDI for a Rincon?

i'll look for it and get back here if i find out for sure.

the only Kawi ones i am aware of are Velocity Devices product, the Copperhead, and the Dynatek CDI.
