Default Jeting

I installed a above the body snorkle, for deep water/mud the carbs are sucking in alot of fresh air. what size jets do I need?m I'm eventially going to add a Muzzy slipon, do I have to change them again when I put it on?

You really need to put it on a dyno to tune it propperly. You can work with it for along time using trial and error and never get it dead on. Yes you will need to rejet if you go with an exhaust. If you pay the money for the mods there is absolutely no reason not to pay the money to propperly tune your bike with them. Remember it's not the mods by themselves that makes the difference, it's tuning them in that does.

E-BAY dyno jet kit ...........$30.00 plus shipping
comes with needle jet, a wide assortment of main jets and complete instructions.
many factors come into play when jetting ----- exhaust, intake, or internal engine work as well as elevation.

Try #142 on the front and #145 on the rear for the main jets, ONLY if you think you are running LEAN after the mod.

Go ahead and do the try this try that thing if you like but you'll never get dead on without dyno runs or at the very least a wideband O2 sensor and reader. There is more to proper jetting that just the mains.
