Default BF 750 v Rincon

I'm in the market for a new ATV. Local dealers are Honda, Kawasaki, and Arctic Cat. Looking at the BF750 or the Honda Rincon. Can you give me the pros and cons on both of these. No hard core stuff, just putting around Colorado with the wife and hunting in Texas. Thanks

They both are great atvs. There are pluses to both.

Brute force-
+great motor and power
+diff lock
+ground clearence
+Brakes front and back(specialy the back)
+I personally like the looks
+big atv if that a plus for you

Rincon-
+allot smoother(might have soft suspension for 2 riders though)
+fuel injection
+great fast handling
+good power, smooth

Both the BF and Rincon are great atvs. Like i said they both have goods and bads. If you go with kawasaki (IM looking at buying one or the other also) i would go with the 650i. I say that is because the power is basically the same ( i few will argue) but you get a better handing atv then the 06 and 05 brute 750(changed in 07). I would take that extra money saved with the 650i and get tires and such. But either way, you pick a great atv. Just remember, If you get the kawi, use low gear as much as possble when just putting around and such to get the most out of your belt and no probs. Good luck

Rincon is a single cylinder, the brute is a v-twin. The rincon has efi, the brute is carbed. The rincon doesn't have a diff lock so when in 4wd you actually have 3wd, the brute has a diff lock. The rincon doesn't have a low range, the brute does. The rincon 675cc has 38.5hp the brute 749cc has 50.1hp. The brute has a cvt style transmission, the rincon has a hydrualic tranny like a car. The brute force 650 would be a better comparison. It has everything the bf750 has except it's a 650 (633cc) and still produces 46.5 hp. As far as ride comfort the rincon will have the edge on the brute. You don't have to worry about a belt on the rincon. Otherwise, the brute will have the edge on the rincon in every other category. For me, I wouldn't consider the rincon because of the lack of a low range, diff lock, ground clearence, and suspension travel. If honda would improve these issues then there would be a rincon in my garage tomorrow. As it stands, I'd have to suggest the brute force 650/750.

I went to the Kawasaki dealer today to take a look, but didn't get a chance to ride them. I really like the look of the BF's. Thanks

I wonder how much the bill to repair the rincons trans would be after warranty expires. Just a little something to think about.
