Well is the rumors are true the thing is a beast, on par with any of 450's and maybe the fastest. Of course a rumor is just a rumor.

But if one had to guess you'd have to imagine that Kawie will not put out a 450 racer that is no on par with the others.

It will be on par with the other 450 quads, if not a tad better. But, it will never compare with the dirtbike motors from the factory, just because of legal issues. What we have now is as fast as they will come stock from here on out, at least until you uncork them.

I imagine it is going to have tons of power and very good handling. Keep in mind that they basically reverse engineered both the best motor (Honda 450R) and the best handling and suspension (YFZ450) while building this one. They took what was already the best and probably made it better.

Then again it could all just be hype. I remember around this time last year the LTR was supposed to be the greatest thing since sliced bread stock. Six months after that you could get them OTD for $600 below MSRP.

Kawi has been doing great with their MX bikes here recently, ther engine is actually to good for some, meaning it is too powerfull for most mortals, anyhow while their on a roll I'd bet this KFX450R will be hard to beat.
