bigger tires on 360 prairie?

any of you guys who have upgraded your tire size, can you give me some of the pros/cons? what size would be best to go to, or would it be better to stay stock size, and get a more aggressive tire?
Thanks,
Mike

From personal experience, I would say stay with stock size. The Prairie is already slow enough (for me).
If you want, go up a size, but I dont think its needed. A more agressive tire like the Mudlite series, or 589's would suit you. If your a real heavy muddy check out tires called "Super Swampers"
Hope that answers your question

I run 26" gators on my 360 and when it's time to renew them I will be going back to the 25's. I run 25" gators on my wifes and she can go anywhere I go. I really only gained about 1/2" to 3/4" ground clearance with the 26" tires but I lost a lot of low and mid range torque.
Stick with the stock 25" tires you will not be sorry.

I have often debated this very thing as I would like a little more stability and traction over rough ground.
I have kept my stock tires and have been mostly happy with them ---- although I do use a tight fitting pair of chains in the winter. I would like to move up one size in width and keep the same height --- also a little more agressive tread --- maybe bearclaws or mudlites --- but always conclude that I am already underpowered and do not want to sacrifice anymore speed.
The chains in the winter work well for me for now.

Our friend has a 360 with 26 mudlites. If it was mine i would just stick to the stock tire size but get more agressive tread like the mudlites. Those 360's are turds but you cant kill them. Damn good atv. I've always wanted to hop up a 360, that'll turn some heads but probably aint worth it unless i had a ton of money.

I went with 26" 589s on my Prairie 300. They did slow the bike down 1-2 mph, but it didn't bother me at all. I very rarely run at full throttle any how. I did install the high-lifter lift kit as well. The 26" 589s would probably bottom out or rub when turning if I hadn't installed the lift. My advice would be to go with a more aggressive tire, like the 589s, if you plan on going through alot of mud, etc... Go with a lighter weight stock tire if you will be riding on dryer, less harsh terrain. Good luck!!!
