Special Tool needed to adjust or replace BELTS
We have 4 newer Kawasaki quadsl, BF 750 BF 650 KFX 700 and a 4x4 360. Is there a special tool to agjust the belts on these quads and if so can we get one? The dealer says it's 250.00 bucks for them to do this service. THAT'S A RIPOFF! We can do our own service because at that price we would have to sell one just to pay the service on the others lol! To HECK with that smuck! Anyway any tip would be great, Thanks Calvin

Special Tool needed to adjust or replace BELTS
There are some special tools Kawi calls for to do the belt job.
1). Drive Pulley Holder to hold the drive converter while removing the main bolt - you can improvise your own if you are creative.
2). Drive Pulley Puller Bolt to remove the converter off the crank end.
3). Flywheel & Pulley Holder to hold the driven converter while removing the main nut.
Then you need more speical tools or you can come up with own idea to disassemble the driven converter to remove/add spacers in the driven converter to adjust the belt tension to the spec.
You've got an array of Kawi CVT quads. Investing on factory service manual seems to be a good ida or even necessary if you want to get the job done right.
