Default 360 4x4 Prairie

I've had my 360 4x4 Prairie '07 bought new in the fall and for the most part I'm happy with it. I've had a Bayou for years and what I'm wondering about is the high reving nature of the machine. It seems to rev very high when all I'm doing is simply rolling along a flat....if I'm running beside a Honda, it's motor is silently slapping along at what seems to be half the revs. Is this normal for the 360 4x4 Prairie? I don't have a tac but I can say that in 'low' I'm what I consider to be 'red line' at approx 15 kph (12 mph?) This machine was purchased new off the show room floor and I'm sure that the clutch is set up correctly but I need to ask.
Thanks
DaveP
