I would call and talk to Don at DG Racing at 1-714-299-3865. He sells a module that is cheaper than a CDI box and to does basicly the same thing ($140). One of my good friends had a Dynatech cdi and everytime it got wet it shorted out. I've had a couple of Don's modules on my machines for 5 years now and no problems.
On the tire deal I would check out the new Highlifter outlaw radial (not sure what the model # is). My buddy just bought a set of 25" for $318 to his door. They are very aggressive. Check out atvoutfitters.net they usually have some of the best prices. Good luck.

so would i benefit if i put the cdi on my machine, or should i just leave it the way it is. what about tires....looking at mudlites and terra cross radials. know they are two different animals, i was told that that the terra radials wouldnt hold up very well, and the mudlites will give me lots of miles. just wanting everyones opinion. thanks all.

You should check out the interco swamplite's also. Very agressive but rides better on hard pack than mudlites. I got 27" from traxms.com mouned w/rims, new lugnuts shipped for right at 600. They are a world of differance from stock.
