Default Stop the Clatter

If the quad speed is right at 2 mph, the EBC would do the ON and OFF thing at any terrain uphill or downhill when freewheeling. However, if there is any defects like worn out EBC fork teflon finger tip which presses against the CVT clutch bearing plate, too much slack in the belt, grooved converter sheave surface, etc. This symptom would occurr at any speeds with such defects. So, it doesn't hurt to check it out.

Default Stop the Clatter

My machine is still new with only 145 miles. This may be considered normal slack in the gears, but in my humble opinion, this is something Kawi should correct. It is way too annoying when riding with other machines that don't make this noise. It just has the sound of slop--like this machine is not well built. I know the Brute is a great machine, but this is a horrible flaw to me.

Thanks

I absolutely love my 650i in every respect except one, and it drives me crazy. When I am riding fairly slow on rough terrian, like a rocky road, there is so much clatter in what sound like the gears. This drives me insane. If the engine noise did'nt scare the deer off, this clatter could be heard a long distance.

Hi I have a 2007 Prairie 360 with about 400 km on the odometer. It's done exactly this since new...only in low while crawling along hitting bumps. It's a fairly heavy clank as opposed to clicking and it's what I take to be drive line backlash, normal or not that's what I feel it to be.

Thanks. I guess I'll try to adjust the shifter ****, if that doesn't correct it, I'll just live with it.
