Write-up of Sand Drags at Can-Am Nationals
#11
Hey man how you been!!! It's been a while since I've seen you post on here. The track had around 1-3 in of loose dusty powder on top then was packed very hard. I beat the ds pretty bad. Don't know how many lengths. Never saw him after the start line. We've got to get togther and do a little riding and racing like we used to. John, Rusty and I went to Caswells last Sat. Rusty didn't get to run his banshee much, timing plate was loose and timing was set to neg 8, so needless to say it ran like crap. John had his white and black raptor out. We raced several times and he never won.lol He wanted to go from a rolling start and it was very close then. Rusty rode mine during the rolling starts and they said that the Raptor won a couple but I could tell it was close. Anyway I'm going to Prescott sun afternoon and going to do some 1/8th mile and 1000' asphalt drags. Don't know who else is going, if anyone. If you can come on. I'll probably run from around 2 to around 6 if that long. It's only $10 for all the runs you want. It would be great to do a little racing and shoot the bull with ya. Mine runs and looks alot different than it used to so you'll probably need to bring blackie. I'm sure blackie will kick my butt but hell I'm used to that. Hope to see ya. Oh yea, I finally got some good paddles coming for the sand. We'll have to see if the old advantage to the sporties holds up.
