Default NEW 750i dry storage on older 650i/750i machines'

I looks like that dry storage will mount to the 06-07 750i and 650i. From what I looked at in the dealship, you just change the top of the plstic on the right side.

Anybody see or try this? Doesn't appear that Kawi' is even selling it yet. I would love to get it and add it on.

The dry storage on the '08 model is on the LEFT side when I looked at it last time. The right side is still the mesh type pocket. Yep, it looks it would perfectly fit on older BF models.

Any problem with the fuel injection? Notice any major differences between the 07 and 08 beside the injection? Is there anything that would make someone not buy the 07 and get the 08?

After further study, it appears that the rack on the 750i is smaller than the standard on the 2007 and older machines. That is how they get the lid to pop on the dry storage. So lloks like you'd have to change the rack and add the storage...not a lot of work, but probably not cheap.
At least until somebody rolls one and ebays the parts...

Why Buy a new rack just to add the dry box, ever heard of a Hack saw?
A hardware store should have something to cover the hack sawed sharp rack sections or just glue a PVC w/the correct dia pvc end to the cut exposed rack section's.
