I bought the KFX 90 for my nephew, who is 7 yrs old, he loves it. He put 10hrs on it in less than a week and not one single problem. He goes most of the places we ride except where there a large rocks. Yes, It has a Kymco label on the frame.
I got his KFX 90 in WV for $1795 not too bad considering how it's built. I have seen some leftovers for $1595 at one of the local dealers.
P.S. Airmobile could you please send me the info on that CDI box.</end quote></div>
Go, to OORACING.COM , Its in the United Kingdom(ENGLAND). You need the 4-pin high rev cdi(not the common 5-pin). It cost about 51.00 dollars w/shipping. It came in about 6 days(pretty fast for across the pond). You will need to splice your wires on the cdi and solder them(or make some jumpers). This cdi does work for the KFX50/90 4-STROKE and I assume any Kymco made bike thats 4-stroke. Im gonna post some pics on my profile here in the next couple of days!! Good Luck!!!

Thanks Airmobile.....I knew these little atvs should be able rev higher.</end quote></div>
Yep , It just about taken a freakin year to figure it out and a whole butt load of time researching on the internet.
Im not really sure of how far the cdi revs too. They(ooracing) claim 14000rpms . Thats a little too much for what I need. I installed mine right before going to work the other day. Put a digital tach to it and got it up to 9200rpm's(stock 7500rpms). It still had alot more to go. I'll mess with it tomorrow evening when I get up(I work nights) or today I should say. Im gonna have to set the throttle screw to keep it form going over 9500rpm's. Anyways, If you need some advice or info, just PM me. Im outta here, don't what to hijack Iceman's post.

Thanks for the info, i will check out the can am. I even like the 800 they have, 2 or 4 wheel drive, looks like a nice machine. It'd look even nicer with some Kawasaki green on it, lol. I was also lookin at a yamaha as they are usually pretty durable machines. We'll see
