Default leaking gas help!

inline in between the tank and the carbs. $2 at rockymountainatv. $5 for a briggs n stratton one form lowes. I dont think the briggs works as good as the tusk ones online. The tusk ones are clear too, so you can see inside.

Your problem is the ethanol in the gasoline, I would recommend adding fuel additive, made specifically for this problem. The ethanol is eating away your rubber parts in your carbs, dump all the gas and use this additve and you wont have future problems. Its get worse if you let it sit and dont run it every few weeks.Make sure you always use the shutoff or you will get gas in your crankcase and this can seize youur engine.
Its a huge problem in the NE and you cant purchase gasoline without the ethanol in it. Boat owners are having huge problems from this also. I put the additive in all my power equipment and quads.

Its called fuel activator, red label 16 oz. for 15$, one once to 20 gallons of gasoline, I get it from my kawasaki dealer , the owner has even been putting it in his cars. Theres a small piece of rubber onthe fuel injectors that could be eaten by the ethanol and the fuel pump diaphram could also be damaged. I use it in all my power stuff, chainsaw, lod splitter, weed wackwer, lawn tractor, quads ,etc. Its made in brooklyn,ny, One of my friends gets stuff similair for his boats, you could try a marina-dealer. The first application you double the dose. I will always use this now, as it was expensive and a hassle to clean/replace inlet needle valves in the carbs, I
have not used it in my cars as of yet, but I am considering it, good luck and just wait till they make ethanol 30% mixture, its only going to get worse and to pay 3.00/ +gallon is sickening since its crap fuel.

$3... I hear ya. I'm going to check around on the internet for that additive. Thanks!

Oh, btw, some cars its ok to run ethanol. At least it says its ok in the manual. Might want to check that out before you spend an extra $1 per 20 gallons.

Default leaking gas help!

Just go to any Auto Parts Store or Walmart and pick up a can of Sea Foam , it's the best fuel additive you can buy and it's been on the market since 1942 with satifaction or your money back ; a product that still carries this kind of claim has to be good !

I ran a Small Engine Service And Repair Shop for over 20 yrs. , and i tried every brand of fuel additive on the market ; but nothing has ever worked as good as Sea Foam and Deep Creep !

My only regret is not knowing about Sea Foam before i closed my shop in late 1997 , there's no telling how many head's i had to remove to find carbon buildup in the combustion chamber causing the valves to gum up ; and the rings to stick because of bad fuel !

Sea Foam cost's about $6.99 + tax at most Auto Parts Stores , and $5.49 + tax at WalMart , Deep Creep is the same as Sea Foam only it comes in a spray can ; you can use Sea Foam in your fuel both Gas and Deisel 2 and 4 stroke engines and you can add it to your oil inside the crankcase to clean out the sludge !

Complete Mixing directions are on the can , out of all the fuel and oil additives i've tried over the yrs. Sea Foam Products are the best i've ever used ; i've seen first hand what this product can do for an internal combustion engine and i highly reccomend Sea Foam there's nothing better on the market !..........
