my first ride MOJAVE..read this one...

last weekend i went out to this guys house who had a recon for sale in the paper. anyway it was a 99 for 2900 ok when i got there he had atv all over the place.. i forgot about the recon and saw a 94 bayou instead 220 model perfect for the wife to putt putt . anyway he said 1900 it was very clean and had new tracs on it all the way around. i rode it and bought it .. than he says my brothers mojave is for sale if i need one its a 99 red frame etc... anyway this thing had been riden maybe twice thats how clean it was he says ride it and tell me if you like it i said ok than went up the dirt rode which was soft. we live in the desert apon comeing back he said no you didnt ride it correctly and i said say again you have got to let this motor work and shell pull good i said ok.. so off i went oh man i used to ride two wheelers long ago but was i supprized when that thing started to go it almost felt like a two stroke i was totaly suprized. so ill be heading out to pick up the bayou and i think ill offer him the 2700 for it ... ill keep you posted...ps.. where just getting into this sport so i guess ill be looking for a trailer soon.and of course the rideing gear..southern utah here we come .......fishing poles in tow.thanks for all the great post on this forum and the people at kawasaki for makeing a nice product... I've owned two of them ('87 and a 2000), and I like 'em a lot. They're not "tanks" at all, as they are fairly quick and maneuverable (due to it's short wheelbase). Keep in mind, the Mojave is not a MX bike. It weighs close to 400lbs and the short wheelbase makes it kind of squirrely at high speeds. But if you are looking for a play bike that is quick and handles well, I don't think you'll go wrong with the Mojave.
