Default Plow-Hand lever or winch

Looking at plows and dealer says they like manual lift best because it's the fastest.Going to be plowing 6-7 driveways. Not sure if I should go with winch
or manual .

The hand lever is pretty fast and gives good feel on gravel surfaces. It is what I use.

If I were going to be doing that many driveways though I'd get the Cycle Country electric lift system to save wear and tear on the winch or my arm. I'd even consider getting one of their power angle systems too so you're not having to hop on and off the machine to switch the angle setting.

I have the winch and its slow but since I have tracks it would be too heavy for the hand one but I wish I could.

That"s what I was thinking.Electric would be nice when you want too raise blade a few inches instead of holdind it up with lever.

I plowed with the hand lever my 1st year. It was quicker, but def. more physical.

I bought a winch for my 4-wheeling trips and then had the luxury of using it for plowing. It is a luxury. I prefer to use the winch now, its not that big of a time differance maker.

If your doing that many driveways, elec. sounds good.
I would def. try the winch though over the hand operation. You can pick up a pretty decent, inexpensive winch on e-bay for $100.00 to $200.00 bucks.

I've decided to go with electric lift and electric angle angle kit.Not sure on blade yet-Either straight or state blade-cycle country.

I think the State plows are better as far as keeping the snow from blowing back on you as you plow and also for directing it. A neighbor has a state plow and when we were both plowing I noticed his wasn't letting the snow blow back on him as bad. It also tended to "roll" the snow off to the side a bit better

I had to get the straight blade because I have to throw snow either way. Power angle would be nice.

Thank's for the info-all the electric stuff adds up-$$ but in the long run will be worth it.
