Default bf650 purchase likly today

It is my understanding that the suspension is more stable. Anyone want to talk me out of the purchace or into it? Also I cutting dounut is impossible with I bem.

Thank you, Looks like I will pick it up this afternoon. Then I will start shoping for tires & Mods, any sugestion?

I have an 06 bf. The only mods I would do are tires, and if you go with big ones, a clutch kit. I would forget about exhaust etc. It will only make it louder with not much (won't feel it at all) power gains. Use your diff lock and it will pull you from just about anything.

Yes, definetly tires. I personally like having the irs, and have ridden both, the sra, and my irs, and really felt very little difference. The tires give the IRS the tippy feeling, but once you put good tires on it, it feels just as stable as any other IRS 4x4 w/ aftermarket tires. The tires that come stock have to be the worst OEM tires for any bike.

An almond secondary is a great mod, even w/ stock tires. If you get a full Muzzy exhaust AND jet the carbs...definite seat of the pants improvement

Almond secondary srings, What do they do? Shift at a differant RPM?

Sort of. It will hold the belt tighter, and improve bottom end. The spring only cost $20
