Default 06 P360 got wet and now wont start. Help?

Me and a friend went riding yesterday and he decided to follow my 650 with his 360 through about 3 feet of mud and water. Mine made it and his didnt. After I winched his out it wouldnt start. We hauled his back to the house, check the oil (not milky), checked gas (no water), took out the spark plug and it was a little wet, so we let it dry overnight. However, this morning it still will not start. Any suggestions??

1) Drain the fuel bowl of the carb.
2) Clean/wipe the airbox area.
3) Remove spark plug and crank the engine for 5 seconds and stop for 5 seconds x 3 times.
4) Clean the spark plug tip or install a new one.
It should fire up assuming there is spark and cyl compression is good.
