A clutch spring will help with shiftout and help your top end. Thats where the other quads always get the Kfx is after about the 300 ft. mark. The stock clutch spring really limits it. An EPI pink, almond or maroon will wake her up!! I have heard good things about the Dalton blue and orange/blue as well. A 12 hole airbox mod will help as well. Checkout KFX700.net and ask those guys over there as well, they know alot about the mods and what works best!!

the cluch kit will make a huge diffrence but there is no since in just getting a new spring you should get the weights as well, they will incress your acceleration. i have the dalton blue and orange spring with the weights it makes a huge diffrence, all so check out kfx700.net like stillZ1 said great site.

I am not sure about how much top end increase you will get because I have not done mine yet. You will get some increase in it though. The blue/orange will give you a little bit of stall, which is good for a drag race. You will notice a difference over stock, just not sure how much. The springs are only around $20 on the EPI website and the Daltons are about the same. Just go on kawieriders or kfx700.net, those guys can give you a better gauge on your performance with the mods. I'll keep ya posted on my gains when I get the maroon spring in.

The very best thing you can go with your clutch is call Interstate Motorsports and ask for John at 570-773-1721. He does different levels of clutch machining. Forget the kits the machining is the only way to go. Pull your primary, secondary or both and ship them to him. He does same day turnaround and is cheaper than a complete clutch kit. My bike went from 72 on the limiter before the work to 78 on the limiter after. It also pulls harder from idle to limiter.
