Default Do Rev Boxes actually make that big of a difference?

One came with my quad I purchased recently, and I wondered if it actually makes a noticeable difference?

The site says 2 hp gain which is pretty decent, but another thing I wondered about is....does it cut the Rev Limiter out completely or just allow the machine to rev faster and then kicks in?

I don't wanna blow the beast up

they allow it to rev out like 1000 rpm more i think, which means you have more of a chance to blow it up because your slammin everything around 1000 times more a minute at full rpm, IMO the stock rev limiter is there for a reason, but with a rev limiter like yours just dont leet it rev out and bounce of the limiter, dont worry about it i think its fine

yeah, it came with my quad...but it's not on it. The guy who sold it to me said it doesn't like the cold, so he only used it in the summer. (strange)

Yeah I dunno, I might put it on, I might not. I just wanted to see if it allowed more revs, but still limited......or it just cut the limiter out completely.

Dynatek is the way to go. Im running a Procom which isnt suppose to be all that great, but I had it for a year now with out any issues yet(knock on wood). The only reason I have it(rev limiter) because I got sick and tired of the rev limiter hitting right when I was about to shift. Dont have the problem anymore.

it's a Big Gun. says it's good for 2 hp...but I haven't been able to find any charts/ graphs to show the power increase compared to stock. Strangely, I haven't even looked at the site yet...haha
