my 01 lakota is hard to shift do i need to adjust the clutch and the chain wont stay tight i think it's streched

 

As far as the hard shifting, it is happening when you are going down a steep hill? If so this is normal, from what I understand. Other wise I would do the auto clutch adjust first. If that doesn't work hopefully someone with more knowledge will post. There is always the service center option too. Make sure you do the auto clutch first though. If not they may call it "just proper maintenance" and not cover it, if under warranty. As far as your chain goes, you prob. arn't tightening the 2 screws well enough. They are to be at a certain torque but I don't have the manual to confirm what it should be.
