Default 05 bf 4x4 problem

I have a 05 bf 750, i bought used, and a wile back it stoped going into 4x4 sometimes i then also noticed the speedo does not work when it does not and somtimes does and hen it will switch. I've checked all the wires and they seem to be in good shape, i think it might be the speed sensor itself. any imput on this would be great, or if anybody knows where to find a speed sensor let me know.

The speedo sensor is located on the right side crankcase just below your heel as you are sitting on the quad. It is a black plastic body 3 pin connector. Your problem sounds like either bad connection or broken sensor by impact. 4x4 function (and of course the speedometer) needs input signal from the signal sensor.
