Default kfx 700 slip on

As I posted in the other thread, if all you did was put on an HMF slip on, you most likely won't need to re-jet. The KFX 700 comes a little on the fat side from the factory. And you are Carburated not Fuel Injected.

Also, in order to get a reading from your Spark Plug, you would need to do a throttle chop. That is where you run it wide open for an extended period of time, shut it off and pull the plug. There are arguments for and against whether or not this works, because the type of fuel you run can skew the results.

The best way to tell if you are jetted right is HOW DOES IT RUN? If it starts, runs, doesn't pop or load up, doesn't foul plugs, or run hot, you are pretty close to being jetted right.

In order for you to hurt it from being LEAN, you would have to be Way Lean and you would know if you were.

These KFX700's actually run better running a little on the rich side. But you would have to really Lean them out to burn one down.

An EFI system gets input from several different sensors. A slip on doesn't make a drastic difference in the amount of exhaust gases being evacuated and therefore isn't going to require a new EFI mapping. I would bet that the EFI can more than adjust any fuel requirements needed if any.
