I'd like to know if any of you have had any problems with your bike and what they were. So far I have had a ruptured brake line, a rear seal failure, a bent valve, and a belt replacement. I've got 1,300 miles on her and now it's making a ringing sound in the vavle-train when I use medium to high throttle. Nothing when Idling or off idle.

Ever adjusted the valve clearance? Sounds like loose valve(s).

Then, there's the cam chain tensioner. Unless the plunger is free to move under spring compression, the chain will not be tensioned properly; this situation could cause some noise. Check the cam chain tensioner for proper operation and adjustment.

I doubt anything associated with a valve seat would make the noise you describe; if it runs o.k., I wouldn't worry about it 'till things get worse.

Roman, you said that you had a bent valve, so I assume you've already had some engine work done. Hopefully it was by a qualified mechanic. If you have more engine noise, why not take it to an authorized dealer and get it checked out properly? It should'nt cost much for an evaluation. Then you can decide what to do. If you keep running it and there is a problem, you may do some expensive damage. Good luck.
