How fast would a Prairie 700 go with a 800cc b kit go
#2
What are you looking for? Just top speed? If that's it the fastest I ever had my prairie when it was bone stock was about 65-66 on the speedo probably only 61-62 true speed. The fastest I've ever had my bike up to with the 730 kit is 79. The 79 was my trap speed in 1000'. That's with alot of work not just a bolt on ebay kit. If you get on a stock 700 then on mine they feel like completely different bikes. Just so you know more cc dosen't necessarily make one bike faster than the other. My little 730 has put a whoopin on alot of built 800s and several 840s.

There are a lot of fast kits out for the twin. But like FASTFATBOY said cc's doesn't "always" make the fastest and/or quickest twin. The shaft drive means that for more top speed you have to run a taller tire or get more rpms out of the motor (or both).
There is a company that makes a taller ring and pinion set but it is "CRAZY" expensive.

The best way to get more all around performance and top speed out of your bike no matter the motor mods is thru cluching. I'm not talking about a clutch kit either. Call John at Interstate Motorsports and he can help you out. 570-773-1721 Mine bike picked up a lot after the 730 kit when I went to John's clutch work.
