Default Flashing 2wd/4wd and stuck in 4wd

Hello from the great white north in Canada's Yukon Territory...I have a 2004 Twinpeaks 700 and last weekend the 2wd/4wd ligts started flashing back and forth at two second intervals ans it won't shift out of 4wd....I realize the two second flashing means a problem with both the selectable 2wd/4wd actuator and the engine brake actuator...it just seems strange that they would both go at the same time...I could live with the flashing lights but I really want to be able to shift it into and out of 4wd so I can drift it into the corners without hooking up so much....I've taken both actuator covers off and they are clean and dry....any idea's would be greatly appreciated...Thanks for listening!!!

Remove the seat and locate the Controller (little black box with one large connector). Try re-plugging the connector with the ign key off. If there is no mechanical failure, that should stop the flashing and 2/4WD function should resume normal operation.
