OEM (rear mounted) and wet after every trip since brand new and I can't keep the water out of it.

Should I expecting it to be 100% waterproof or are they just a POS?

Same here. My paperwork, tool kit, spare plugs, all became wet and rusty. Obvously, it's not designed to be waterproof. It's barely dust proof. I'm thinking of putting all those important items in a separate water tight plastic container, and put that in the storage compartment.

I havent had that problem yet, but havent rode very much deep water yet. Have been in the mud and muck plenty of times.

Has had in since new. Thought if might have been on backwards, but tried it both ways, no change.

Everything is in viplock bags now and permit and insurance is laminated, guess that will have to do!!

No, I've never had it under water b/c I don't ride in that stuff.
All out downpours hauling down trails at fast speeds, high hose pressure car washes & still it is dry inside.
