I haven't seen any mention of this on the forum so I decided to post it in case some owners didn't receive a notice from Kawasaki.
According to one of our local newspapers, Kawasaki has recalled 18,000 2001 model Kx bikes due to a defective rear brake part. Owners of KX models in the various cc's may receive the needed new parts to install themselves or may take the bike to a dealer for repair. Further info is available on their website.
Any readers who have friends riding Kawasaki KX bikes may wish to alert them to the recall.
