i just recently picked up a 1997 lakota 300, it had no taillight so i bought a stop ,tail @ auto parts . i can get light on but no brake light ? is there a brake light switch somewhere? or am i wiring it wrong?there is only 2 wires on taillight , but 3 @ back of bike ? any input would be greatly appreciated thanks.

 

I ride with a 96 300 Lakota alot and I do not ever remember seeing a brake light, just the tail running light.

 

well o.k. i wasnt sure i checked out a couple of other brands & they seem to have one maybe i can mcgyver something .my son will ride in the neighborhood & i dont want some idiot rearending him.i cant find any switches online for this bike .so maybe it just doesnt have it.thank you i appreciate the input. jim
