Default kfx 700 problems

I recently put a new muzzy exhaust on my 700 and it chugs when it first starts up and sometimes shuts off. I read on here that it needs to be rejetted but i wasn't sure if I had to buy a new jet kit for it or just make adjustments to the carb.

Adjustment is not gonna do it. You need to get fatter set of jets (pilot and main, maybe even needle jets). You need to ask Muzzy guys what they recommend for your application instead of you doing all the R&D work.

You might have to re-jet, but a jet kit will not help a starting or idle problem. I would check too see if it is getting enough air and also for pinched air hoses.

700 (sporty) and 450 (sports) are not on the same leaque. One test ride of the each machines will tell you exactly what I mean.
