Anybody having probs. with front struts on 08 650 bf sra? I have under 50 mi. on my quad and the front struts both make a" thunking " noise when they are unloaded. I 1st heard it when we were on our way back on the trail ,I stopped and pulled the weight off of the front tires by lifting on the front bumper, you could hear the thunk when the tires were just about to come off the ground. I had a 02 prairie 650 and that naver made that noise even with over 2000 mi. on it . Whats up?

 

I worked on several 650/700/750 but never experienced what you described. Could it be other suspension parts like knuckle, ball joint, A-arm, etc?

 

My dealer checked it out and it seems like the strut is extending out to fast like no dampening and "thunk" on both sides.
