Default Electricsl problems

Hey Guys I am having some electrial issues. I have a o5 Brute Force 750 I have done the buss connector fix in the rear. About a month ago I took the brute out for a ride. Rode for about two hours came back to the truck to get some lunch, headed back out rode for about another hour shut it down for a bit went to fire it back up it would not start. I would do nothing at all dead totally. With the button or pull start. Had my buddy tow me back to the truck. Got it home checked all the wiring found nothing wrong. I took my dynatek box out and put the stocker back in it fired right up. So I just figured the dynatek was bad. But the next time I was riding the same thing happened after I shut it down twice The third time it would not start back up. Dynatek sent me a new one. I have been tracing the wiring harness to find any shorts or anything. No luck so far if any of you guys have any ideas on what might be wrong or any suggestions please let me know

Josh

> Why do you think this is an electrical issue?
Swapping CDI could have been a coincidence. It could be either mechanical or carburetion issue.
> What is your starting procedure when engine is warm/hot as far as choke and the throttle go?
> How do plugs look?
> Have you tried new plugs?
> When was last time valve clearance was checked/adjusted?
Tight valves will cause hard starting, especially when engine is warm/hot.
> What's the compression reading?
Always start with basic checks as above.

Default Electricsl problems

I'm leaning towards electrical because I sent the old Dynatek box in to them for the warrenty they said It had been fried. And then I put the stocker in and the same thing happened. The plugs are brand new. My Valves were Just adjusted about twenty hours ago. When this happens It won't even try to roll. All the lights work the pod works the winch works. I am just getting over this problem

If the CDIs keep getting fried, then two things to check:
> Voltage regulator/retifier.
> Speedo sensor output voltage.
Make sure they are in spec, not over-feeding the CDI.

Did you install a contactor (relay kit) that came with the winch? If you installed the winch as according to its instruction, the winch wiring should not have caused your CDI problem.

Did this start after to repaired the wires in the back? Maybe you have one of those mixed up, like a brown in with blacks??? May need to get a service manual and check out the ignitor.
