I just bought this 02 prairie & the whole exhaust system is pretty rusty "head pipe & muffler" what all do you have to do to take the exhaust system off ??? do you have to take off any plastic's etc...I was going to take it off and sand blast & repaint. "The machine is not here that's why I'm asking". Thanks!!

 

I havent took the whole thing off but for a slip on, you have to take the bottom of the left rear fender off. (the black mud flap like thing) And then you be able to take off the header calp on the rear cyclinder and the clamp to the header for the front cyclinder and the silencer itself.

I would say for the front cyclinder take off the front left iner fender and maybe the fender extention for extra room. Hope this helps you out a little.
