Is there anyone that has ridden in Newfoundland. Thinking about planning a trip and heard the T-Railway was a place to ride. Also read that it might be closed.

It was mentioned on a local forum that the government in NFLD closed some bridges that were on the trails as they were unsafe not sure how much this affected trips there. I will try & find out.

 

They are still offering tours of the Island,anyone I have talked to said it was a great trip. If you need info on guided tours let me know as there were a couple of names given to me from another forum.

Can you let me know the names you got. I live in NB and know a few people that have gone and they said it was a blast. There only problems were getting multiple flat tires while driving along the rail beds . . . apparently it Is pretty rocky. Have you gone on this trip before?

 

bighweel366 I sent you a PM with the names & info. It is hard on some tires from what I have heard but some guys have had no problems with certain aftermarket brands. I have never done an ATV tour but I would love to go some time I have only been there once for a short vac aroun CornerBrook & Gros Morne National Park area & it is beautiful.

As it stands right now you can do the run, there are bridges out, one main one but they are working to get it open.... right now there's more shoulder driving unless you go through Buchans. I also forgot to mention to look at my profile to see picts of nl. I'm not on this fourm that much anymore.
