Yours is as same as mine, '05.
My guess is it could be a carburetion related issue such as choke plunger hanging up, resulting in running too rich condition.
> Check plugs.
> If fouled, remove choke plunger (two, one for each carb) assembly from the carbs and clean/reinstall.
