I recently inherited a 1988 Kawasaki KSF250. I do most of my own work on my cars but I know very little about motorcycles. I have pulled the spark plug and grouded it while kicking the engine over and there is no spark. Could someone tell me what components to check, how to check them, and in what logical order to do so? Any help would be appreciated!

 

If you are truly, positivily, absolutly, certin that you have no spark you may have a bad coil, you can probably get one on e-bay.
