Default help....with my lakota

so i take my lakota to the trials for the first time ever and i noticed then i go to shift it leaks oil out the shifter and i mean pours out when it is running it drips i let my buddy do the oil and filter change last night and he put 2 quarts in idk if that enough or not but on the window it showed to the low line then after riding for awhile its seem to be over filled so idk if its to full and thats what is causing it to leak like that or a bad seal what do u guys then... and when im giving the thing some gas in a higher gear like 5th 6th it sounds like the clutchs are slipping u have to back off the gas and let the rpm;s caught up...

wow -- right night to the oilfiller is a 1/2" tall lettering
1.7L

the shifter runs basically through the oil to reach from left to right side. If you lift the shifter and oil pours out, you COULD have a motor killing problem, or just in need of a $130 part.

where are you located?
