300 Bayou oil leak at rear driveshaft again

Sisco,

It appears that I have the same problem that you had. It looks as if my freeze-type plug is dislodged totally from inside the CV housing. I plan on attacking it soon, and wonder if you can give any hint for the successful disassembly of the cage and housing. I'm sure I'll figure it out eventually, but hopefully some hints from you will save me some time and aggravation.

Default Check the spring in drive shaft

Check the spring inside the drive shaft .. I had the same problem ,replaced seal, bell housing,then finally the spring and that's what did it. I cut my own spring slightly bigger that the original. Worked like a charm.
