Default brute force front end

I have 1300 miles on my 07 brute force 750.Does the a-arm bushings and ball joints wear fast or do they have a little play.I have a 2" lift kit with 28" tires.

No, they shouldn't have any play in them. They are worn out. Get new bearings/bushings and apply lots of waterproof grease when you reassemble them back. Your lift kit and big tires are making them wear out a lot faster than the sotck 25" tires due to more stress/weight on the A-Arm pivot.

Thumbs up

The frt UPPER a-arm bushings are sloppy on these.I have an 08 and they had play in them from the get go.I am not sure if this is by design but I would think not. This is a huge topic on nyrocs site.In fact there is a guy making a nylon replacement one that looks great. I think I will run mine up to the 11month period and take it in fro warranty replacement. As far as the ball joints that is indeed wear I would suspect. If you are gonna run bigger heavier tires then this is to be expected.I had a 2002 P650 and put 4k miles on it and only replaced one of the lower a-arm bearings. They do need greased once in a while especially if you spend alot of time in mud/water.I never replaced a ball joint but I ran and still run stock size tires although they are 6ply.

They have different suspension design. 750 & 650i have double A-Arm and P650 & 650 SRS have single A-Arm design. Only double A-Arm design would have this excessive play problem.

Yeah I am fully aware of that.....the srs has struts and lower a-arms...the point I was trying to make was in all those miles I never had to replace the lower ball joints and only one of the lower a-arm bearings running stock size tires. This was of course after having the recall done on the frt knuckles at 1800 miles but even then the parts were still tight. There is an issue with the IRS machines and the frt upper a-arm bushings...not sure what but there are a ton of threads on it....and like I said some guy has even started making a nylon insert for the frt UPPER a-arms that looks pretty trick...I may go that route since mine are sloppy even now...

Replaced my front upper control arm bushings at about 800 miles.

Not only that, they have completely different types of bearings inside the A-Arm pivot. Such as needle bearing (P/N 920461046) with heim-joint sleeve (P/N 420360016) are used on BF750, and none of that are used on P650. You just can't compare apples to oranges.
