Default Clutch kit for 95 Bayou 300

I'm really having a hard time locating a source for a clutch kit for a 1995 Bayou 300 2WD. Model is KLF300-B8. I can find the individual plates but I'm thinking I could save some money if I could buy a kit that included all the plates and maybe springs. Anyone know a place?

Your 300 is a 5-speed semi-auto clutch system and it is more of an utility type quad. I highly doubt if there is anyone who sells a complete kit. Your quad shares many same parts Kawi's Lakota 300. You may want to check out quad salvage yards.

What happened to your clutch anyway?

It's just slipping. It's not mine, it's a friends and he says it is slipping. I haven't rode it so can't say first hand. It could very well be a different problem.

First try to adjust the clutch since that is cheap (no $$ involved) and easy (only a screw adjustment). Follow the instruction in the manual. If that doesn't work, inspect the clutch plates for wear. Typically will only need friction plates.
Good luck.

Ok, thanks. I was wondering if I could replace the friction plates without replacing the steel plates, now I know. Thanks. But yes, I will try an adjustment first.
