Bought an 05 360 p, 4x4. This weekend the tie rod broke off the knuckle or rather the knuckle broke, bottom line I need to replace the knuckle and can't get the castle nut loose from the spindle to remove the shaft. It won't turn a lick, even with air. anyone else had this happen or know a solution. And since I dont have a book on this the shock rntering the top of the knuckle needs to come out. Im not an experinced mechanic but generally don't have too maney issues you guys haven't worked me through. The spring does have some tension but dosent appear to be too much. Any advice on the proper method to remove all this would be great. I have also been reading about a recal on knuckles, got me wondering if a call to a dealer is worth it, I bought it from a friend that bought it new. Anyway thanks any help.
