KDX80 Lawn Mower
Over 5 years ago I was given a KDX80, I already had a newer KX80 so I had no use for the KDX neither did I have the room so I junked it and kept the motor along with the belly of the bike that I cut out to assist mounting the engine on something. A few years later that something happened to be a rare miniature riding lawn mower I obtained for $25 with no engine. From what I was able to make of the service tag on a tractor forum, it's a 1971 Sears Craftsman mower that had a 6HP engine (vertical crank shaft). I decided to mount the KDX80 engine on it, fitting very tightly. I started this 2 years ago and kind of lost interest, time, and money but will never let it go!
I need help though with the year of the engine so I can buy parts! The number says "DX080BE01237(9 or 4) and my best decoding was a 1984 Kdx80 C-1 but I am not sure!
