Default running issues

Ok guys so my buddy is having problems with his kfx700. yea yea yea i know its a kawasaki, now thats out of the way. Our problem is, it will first start up no problem. then after about 100 yards, it begins to bog and dies. will not restart. after about 5-10 mins it starts back up, but is spitting, sputtering, will not hardly revv up runs like pure a$$...

now we have replaced, the spark plugs, flushed the tank, added fresh gas, torn apart and cleaned the carb, checked the coil resistance as per manufacturer spec, added some sea foam with fresh gas...

at this point we are at a loss... once it has its no start issue, it has a spark but seems weak. i have checked the resistance of the coil while it is hot, and no problem there... even when it starts up and runs fine for those few moments, the spark still seems weak, but it runs great for about 100 yards and dies...

these quads have a resistor plug boot, that we bypassed to eliminate that, and still the same issue...

anyone have any ideas??? crank sensor maybe, cdi box maybe???

thanks in advance

It seems you/ your buddy missed to check the choke plungers, one for each of twin carbs. They can stick open and will allow extra fuel to carbs, running too rich.
