Default How Long does your belt Last...

Looking at Buying a new Quad and I have been checking out various manufacters. Of course, each dealer is bashing the other guys stuff. But the one thing I have heard that has me curious is that the belt on the Kawasaki doesnt last.

So, how long does your belt last?

The belts not lasting are the result of guys running large tires, lots of mud and getting the belt wet.

Another huge factor in belt wear is driving the quad in high when it should be in low. Low should be used for continuous slow driving, mud, deep snow, hills, deep waterholes, and slow technical riding like rocks.

Mine was 5 years old with some hard time on it. It was still within specs, but I was replacing alot of stuff on my kawi 360 before deer season, and decided to go ahead and replace the belt too. I kept it, so now I guess I have a back-up.
