2006 brute force 750 idles but cuts out when giving throttle

Default 2006 brute force 750 idles but cuts out when giving throttle

i rebuilt motor ,new piston and rings. it was under water, it idles good but when you give it fuel back fires through the carb any help would be great. check timing that is good

Yep- very common problem- happen to me all the time. upgrade your jets (there's a SB for this somewhere on here- might of even been a recall?) replace your fuel filter and flush your tank- I did all that and it solved the issue.

If you search the forums about this problem you'll see this was a major common issue with brutes from 2005 until they started using EFI.
