Question Stalling?

Hello I have a kvf 360 4x4 2003 and for the past month when i put it in gear(its auto) it needed to rev higher before it would move and made a lurch when it did.
Today it started stalling when I put it in gear unless i reved it high and it would jump ahead like popping the clutch on a standart Truck and it wont idle in gear because it wants to keep going like the clutch or whatever is inside these will not disengage so when i try to stop or let off the throttle it quits.??
Any Ideas before I go sending it into the shop?

What you are experiencing is the "infamous" tight valves syndrome on the KVF360. The valve clearance needs to be opened up to the spec. Either you can take it to a stealership and spend a few hundred $$ or do it yourself and learn.

You need start out by called your local dealer and ordering a converter puller tool should run you about 25$. Remover the belt cover and front converter. Remember the bolt that hold the front converter is left hand threads. Install tool in front converter and the tool is right hand threads. Once you get the front converter off remove the 6 or 8 bolts remover top plate. Once is off check the rollers that the ramps run on. Most time one or more of them break causing the converter to stick. I've seen this many time in my 7yrs at the Kawasaki dealership im the mechanic at.if I can help anymore just pm me

The puller tool (bolt) is $67.40 MSRP, not just $25.

An you also need the pulley holder P/N 57001-1620 ($75) to do the job you are suggesting, and maybe more like speical tool P/N 57001-1473.
