Default Prairie 360 Idle adjustment problem

This my first post on any site and it looks like I found a good one. I just bought a 2006 Prairie 360 that would not idle without the choke. I read a lot of post and I adjusted the valves and volia it idles beautiful after adjusting it to the right speed with the adjusting screw. Then my next problem occurred. After I ride it just a few minutes it will idle too slow and die. If I adjust the screw it will idle fine again. I can even come back the next day and it starts up with no choke and idles just fine but if I drive it it will do the same thing. I have two questions before I pull the carb.

1. Has anyone ever heard of the idle adjustment screw vibrating loose?

2. How easy should it be to turn? Mine is very easy and wobbles a little.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

David

I have not known one to vibrate loose, but I can see it happening.
My idle adjustment is tight to turn and no wooble.
Take the side cover off and make sure everything is ok in there first...

Thanks. That is what I did last night. Apparently someone was in there before and forgot to put the spring in. Got one at the hardware store and it works great now.
